Weekly Gatherings
Sunday mornings at 10:00am
In the auditorium at Central Campus
Our weekly gatherings are a time to come together to worship our God. While church is much bigger than Sunday mornings, we highly value these gatherings as a time for the broader church family to gather together around the preaching of the word, the eucharist of Christ's body and blood, giving of resources to the life of the church body, and communal celebration of who God is and what He is doing in our lives.
Our church will seek to create expressions of worship that become tangible encounters with God. Through the word, the body, the sacraments, art, prayer, and music we will seek to create holy space where people can encounter the living Christ.
During the Sunday gatherings, we will be offering safe, engaging, and fun activities for children (Birth-5th Grade) called Gateway Kids.
TEACHING
The central role of teaching in our community is to form and shape our lives into a part of the Christian story. Teaching is more than simply relaying spiritual information, but calls and challenges us to live the message of Jesus faithfully in our own context.
Our goal is to help you make sense of following Jesus in this time in history, in the context of Des Moines. We work hard to translate the scriptures from their first century setting into our post-Christian context.

Music
Praise and worship through song is an integral part of our weekly gatherings.
The scriptures tell us the Father is seeking those who worship Him in Spirit and truth. We seek in our gathered worship to give voice with song to our own encounter with the living God.
Worship recalibrates our hearts and centers our lives on Jesus.
Our music will be passionate and reverent, combining songs from the ancient church with songs from our own musicians and the contemporary church.
Our vision is to provide an environment of excellence and expectation, so that God is lifted and honored in our lives, community and city.
Connecting
The Sunday service is just the door through which we enter into community with others in the church. To really grow and feel connected, we all need to make an effort outside of the service to get to know and care for each other and to help each other on the path to becoming fully devoted followers of Christ.
After the service feel free to stop by the Connect Table in the lobby or look for the hosts with a nametag to find out more about joining one of our Gateway Groups and/or Ministry Teams.
