Rahab trusts that God will do what He says. (Joshua 2:1-22, 6:1-25) This gives her the courage to hide the good spies, so they don’t get caught. She helps the spies escape and then they save her when God’s people attack the city.
David had promised to treat Jonathan’s family with kindness when he became king. Many years later, David kept that promise by taking care of Jonathan’s son, Mephibosheth (2 Samuel 9:13 and 4:4). Our Bottom Line is: Honor others by keeping your promises.
