Home Stretch
We’re almost there! After months of planning and working, our new home at the Fleming Building is truly coming to life. If you’ve stepped inside recently, you’ve seen the transformation firsthand—but if not, here’s a glimpse at what’s been happening and what’s still to come.
Progress so far
The past few weeks have been a flurry of activity, with major milestones being completed:
Carpet installed – The floors are looking fresh and ready for weekend gatherings and weekday events.
New sanctuary lighting & smart controls – Our worship space now has improved lighting that enhances visibility and atmosphere, with dimmable smart functionality for added control.
Track lighting in the entryway – First impressions matter, and our new entryway lighting makes the space warm and inviting from the moment you walk in.
Audio-video booth nearly completed – The heart of our tech setup is now in place, making gatherings and events run smoothly for volunteers.
New speakers & soundboard installed – Our sound system is now clearer and provides a more consistent listening experience throughout the sanctuary.
Grease trap installed in the kitchen – A big step toward making our kitchen fully functional for future gatherings and hospitality.
Already coming to life
Even as construction continues, the building is already serving its purpose! We’ve hosted a successful trivia night, and we also held our annual member meeting, bringing our church together as we reflect and plan. These events have been a glimpse of the vibrant life that will soon fill this space every week.
What’s next?
We’re on the home stretch, but there’s still important work to be done:
New primary entrance & interior doors – This will improve access and flow throughout the building.
Painting the walls – Fresh paint will bring everything together, making the space feel more finished and welcoming.
Livestream cameras permantly installed – Enhancing how we share our services online, keeping everyone connected.
Upgraded media computer – This will improve production and simplify processes for volunteers and staff.
Mounting stage lighting & controls – Final touches for making our worship space fully functional.
Wireless internet & classroom lighting upgrades – Helping the entire space be more usable for both worship and community events.
