Group Discussion Guide
Each Sunday we come together we offer an open invitation into the way of Jesus. An invitation to enter into sacred rhythms - to draw near to God through singing, giving, learning, and praying.
As a community who desires renewal in Des Moines as it is in Heaven, we recognize that we cannot offer what we ourselves do not have. We cannot lead where we ourselves have not been led; in turn, these questions aim at reflection. Reflecting on God’s word and making space for his leadership.
After watching or listening consider the following discussion questions as a large group or in groups of three to four:
How does this Easter feel different; what does this mean for our hope in this season?
Take a moment to pray for the people who feel hopeless and that Jesus’ resurrection hope might meet this in this season.
What things and moments have been “wearing your patience thin” these past few weeks?
Read Hebrews 10:35-39
How does this passage give us hope generally? And how might this passage give you hope specifically?
What do you need to put on the cross this season (literally give over to death) and grieve so that God might give it back to you with resurrection life? (job, relationship, selfish-ambition, etc.)
