A New Chapter Unfolds

The transformation of the second floor of the Fleming Building is well underway. After months of preparation, we’re excited to share that significant progress is being made on the project. Here’s an update on what’s happening behind the scenes:

  • Wall construction: The skeleton of our space has taken shape, with the framing of walls now completed. Walking through the space, you can begin to imagine the flow and feel of the new layout.

  • Door frame installation: Door frames are being installed, marking another step toward defining the individual rooms and areas.

  • Stage construction: The stage is coming to life, and the ADA-accessible ramp is being installed. This platform will soon host worship, teaching, concerts, talks, and more.

  • Electrical work: Behind the walls, the essential electrical systems are being installed. From lighting to sound equipment, powering these unseen but critical components will ensure the space is functional and welcoming for all.

How you can be involved

Every step of this construction process is focused on creating a space reflecting our heart for the city. We envision a sanctuary where people feel at home. As construction continues, there are several ways you can partner with us:

  • Pray: Join us in praying for the safety of the workers, the progress of the project, and the impact this space will have on our community. Please pray for wisdom, strength, and endurance for Gateway’s leaders and staff.

  • Volunteer: Opportunities to lend a hand with tasks like painting and other aspects of the build-out will be coming soon. Keep an eye out for updates.

  • Give: Renovations like these require significant resources, and every gift helps move us closer to completion. If you’d like to contribute financially, click here to give online.

We are filled with gratitude for all that God is doing here. Stay tuned for more updates and glimpses into the progress. Thank you for being part of this journey.
